MLS Picks

The conference leading Houston Dynamo travel to BMO Field tomorrow to take on Toronto FC. The first meeting between these two teams belonged to Houston as they won easily 3-0. The rematch between these clubs however will be much different. Don't expect Houston to put up those kind of goals again as they are playing without their two top scorers, Brian Ching and Stuart Holden, who continue their international duties. Goalkeeper Pat Onstad of the Dynamo is one of the best, but given Toronto's recent success of winning 3 of their last 4 games (scoring 7 goals in those 3 wins) added with the fact that Houston is also missing a good defender in Andrew Hainault, they just aren't going to be able to stop the rolling Toronto FC. Houston has a 4-4-1 road record, are 0-1-1 in two visits to Toronto, and are just 1-2-1 in their last 4 games. On the other hand, Toronto's last 8 home games have resulted in a record of 5-2-1. This game will be close and could go either way, but I'm expecting to see Toronto edge out the Dynamo in a tight one.
